Federation of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Rajasthan (FPMDR) has announced All India Entrance Test PC-PMT 2015 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses

This Federation shall be conducting a common entrance test (PC-PMT 2015) for Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Rajasthan for admission in MBBS & BDS courses for the academic year 2015-16
The federation has around 4 Medical and 12 Dental Colleges affiliated under it

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in MBBS & BDS Courses:

No candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the curriculum of first year of the MBBS & BDS courses until:

i) He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS & BDS courses i.e. on or before 31st December 2015

ii) He/she has passed qualifying examination as under:

The senior secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination or from any recognized Board which is equivalent to 10+2 examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of the study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course of English as prescribed by the NCERT after introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education

The student presently studying in Class XII and appearing at Senior Secondary Examination, 2015 can also apply for PC-PMT 2015

Such candidates shall be permitted provisionally to appear in PC-PMT 2015 Examination, provided that he/she encloses his/her admit card of 10+2 Examination

He / She must submit his/her mark sheet (relevant documents) at the time of counselling

Pattern and Scheme for PC-PMT 2015:

Character: The proposed entrance examination will be of All India Character and students not only from Rajasthan domicile but also from any part of India as well as Foreign Nationals /NRI’s are eligible to appear in this PC-PMT 2015 provided that the candidates fulfil other eligibility criteria for admission to MBBS & BDS courses as per the rules and regulations of the MCI & DCI

Standard for Exam: The standard of questions in the paper shall be broadly based on ten plus two (10+2) Higher/Senior Secondary examination of CBSE

Written Entrance Exam: PC-PMT-2015 shall consist of a written exam on 31st May 2015 (02.00 pm to 05.00 pm)
In the entrance examination, a candidate must secure 50% of total aggregate marks (45% for General PH and 40% for ST/SC/OBC/SBC) as per the MCI & DCI regulations

Pattern of Entrance Exam, Question Paper: The entrance examination shall be conducted in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) of 10+2 level

The above question paper will be both in English & Hindi Medium

The question paper will be based on the standard mentioned above

The question paper for the entrance examination will comprise of 200 one-best-choice-out-of-four type multiple-choice questions (MCQs)

The number of questions shall be Physics - 50; Chemistry - 50; Biology - 100 (50 Botany plus 50 Zoology)

The candidate is required to answer 200 MCQs in 3 hours

Each question shall carry equal marks

Question paper will be both in English & Hindi Medium

There will be Negative Marking (‘+4’ marks shall be awarded for each correct answer, ‘-1’ mark for a wrong answer, and ‘0’ for un-attempted question)

Entrance Exam Centers:

There will be three entrance examination centres in the state of Rajasthan in the following cities

[01] Ajmer
[02] Jodhpur
[03] Udaipur

Number of entrance examination centre may be increased or decreased depending upon the total number of applications received; the name and address of the entrance exam centres will be mentioned on the admit card/hall ticket

The information brochure containing Application Form for entrance examination and admission in MBBS & BDS courses for the academic year 2015-16 will be made available from 13th April 2015 to 18th May 2015

Last date of submission of filled in Application Form: The completed application along with necessary enclosures / documents must be sent to the Co-ordinator of Examination PC-PMT-2015, Pacific Institute of Management, Pacific Hill, Opp. Transport Nagar Extn., Airport Road, Debari, Udaipur-313024 before 18th May 2015 (05.00 p.m)

Admit Card

a) Online Candidates: The admit card can be downloaded from the website www.fpmdcr.com from 25th May 2015 by using your User Id and Password
b) Manual Candidates: The admit card can be downloaded from the website www.fpmdcr.com from 25th May 2014 by using their Application Form No. As User Id and Date of Birth in the format DD/MM/YYYY as Password

Application Form: The Information Brochure containing Application Form for Admission to the MBBS & BDS courses for this academic year 2015-16 can be filled online from our website www.fpmdcr.com and can also be obtained manually from the Office of Federation of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Rajasthan, 17-C, Near Seva Mandir, Old Fathepura Udaipur-313001 during working hours (on all working days) either in person or by depositing a crossed bank demand draft of Rs.6000/- (Rupees Six thousand only) drawn in favour of “Federation of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Rajasthan” payable at Udaipur

Candidate shall fill-up the Application Form in his / her own handwriting in capital letters (block letters) written neatly and legibly
