Pacific Dental College & Hospital was established by the Pacific Education Society now PAHER (Academy of Higher Education and Research) to cater to the growing need of medical and dental health care of the poor and needy by qualified professionals in the state of Rajasthan in general and Southern Rajasthan in particular.
The College is located on the Udaipur Chittorgarh `Golden Quadrilateral' highway. The College is housed in a modern three storied building, having well equipped specialty Departments. On an average 150 patients per day are treated at the hospital. The College is equipped with Modern Laboratories, a well stocked Central Library, independent Departmental Libraries and Internet facilities to keep the students updated with the latest advances in the dental field. The College is well supported by highly qualified & clinically skilled teaching staff in different disciplines of Medical and Dental sciences. The College is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan of health Science, Jaipur and has an annual intake of 100 students each year. On successful completion of 5 (4+1) years of study the students are awarded the degree of B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) The College is Recognized by the Dental Council of India, Govt. of India and Govt. of Rajasthan. The college also provides Postgraduate Courses in all the higher specialties of dentistry (M.D.S.). The college also offers certificate courses for dental hygienists and dental mechanics.
