Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination application invites for admission in 1st year B.E./B.Tech., M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry, B.H.M.S. Courses in academic session 2015-16 through JCECEB
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Copetitive Examination 2015
In compliance with the JCECE Board
Act and requisition received from the concerned Departments of Govt. of
Jharkhand, the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination
Board would be conducting the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive
Examination-2015, for the academic session 2015-16
This entrance test is being conducted for the admission in first year degree level professional courses like Engineering, MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry, BHMS and other same type of courses
within the Jharkhand State of outside of the State
Universities/College /Institutions where there is need of recommendation
to state, recommendation will be based on Merit-cum-Choice basis
prepared by J.C.E.C.E - 2015 Merit List
Different Courses as per Subject Groups are given in the below:
i. B.Tech/B.Sc Agriculture/B.Sc Forestry (Subject Group - PCM)
ii. MBBS/BDS/B.Sc Agriculture / B.Sc Forestry/BHMS (Subject Group - PCB)
iii. B.Tech/ MBBS/BDS/B.Sc Agriculture/B.Sc Forestry/BHMS (Subject Group - PCMB)
JCECE 2015 Eligibility
JCECE UG Residential Criteria: The
applicant must be a citizen of India and Permanent or Local resident
of Jharkhand as per criteria laid down in the notification of
"Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasa Department", Govt of
Jharkhand
A candidate will have to
submit/show Permanent or Local Resident certificate in proper format in
Original at the time of counselling, issued by competent authority
(Sub Divisional Officer - (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand
State)
Educational Criteria:
Engineering: The
candidate must have passed I.Sc /10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics
and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry subject
(and); has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate
belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together
MBBS/BDS: The
candidate must have passed I.Sc /10+2 or equivalent exam with the
subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology and English
individully and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken
together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology at the
qualifying exam
In respect of candidates belonging
to reserve category, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and
Biology /Bio-Technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40%
instead of 50% for General Candidates
B.Sc Agriculture and B.Sc Forestry:
The candidate must have passed I.Sc/10+2 or equivalent examination
with Physics, Chemistry along with Mathematics or Biology
/Bio-Technology
BHMS: The
candidate must have passed I.Sc / 10+2 or equivalent examination with
Physics, Chemistry along with Biology / Bio-Technology
Age Limit Criteria:
B.Tech - No age bar
MBBS/BDS:
Completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the
age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission
B.Sc Agriculture & B.Sc Forestry: Minimum 17 years and Maximum 22 years as on 01st July 2015 (3 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate in upper age limit)
Physical Criteria:
Medical Checkup of candidates recommended for admission in all courses
will be done by the Borad and/or Institution and after check-up, only
fit candidate will be treated as eligible for admission
Reservation of Seats:
Reservation on Caste Basis: Up-to-date
prevailing reservation policy of Govt. of Jharkhand will be followed
in all courses of Govt. and Non-Govt. Institutes. But, candidates
claiming against reserved seat will have to submit/show Caste
Certificate in proper format in Original at the time of counselling,
issued by competenty authority (Sub Divisional Officer - (Civil) or Dy.
Commissioner of Jharkhand State)
Service Man Quota (SMQ) (only in Govt. Engg Institutes): This
facility will be given to only notify Army Personnel as per the
guidenlines in "A guide to Resettlement of Ex-Servicemen 1984, Ministry
of Defence and Directorate General Resettlement
Following will be the priority sequence for preparation of Merit List under Service Man Quota:
a) Widow/wards of Defence Personnel killed in action
b) Wards of Serving Personnel and Ex-Servicemen disabled in action
c) Widow/wards of Defence Personnel who died in peace time with death attributable to Military Service
d) Wards of Defence Personnel disabled in peace time with disablity attributable to Military Service
e) Wards of Ex-Servicemen and serving defence personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards
Reservation for Physically Disabled Candidates:
Seats are reserved for physically disabled candidates in the Govt.
Degree Engg Institute only; physically disabled means such candidates
who is deaf or dumb or physically handcap or all of them be together
and whose lower part of body as well as upper part of both together be
at least 40% partially incapable
Exam Centre:
i. List of cities where the JCECE 2015 (PCM Group) will be conduted are Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dumka, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh and Bokaro. JCECE-2015 (PCB & PCMB Group) will be conducted only at Ranchi
ii. The Candidate should select 2 Convenient town for the entrance test
iii. Though every effort will be made to allot a
centre in one of the towns selected by the candidate, yet the Board
reserves its discretion to allot a centre other than the candidate's
choice
JCECE Entrance Test Pattern:

Language of the Quesiton Papers:
a) Question Paper consists of both English and in Hindi language
b) In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of
the questions, its English version shall be treated as final
JCECE 2015 Date & Timing of Entrance Test:
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE)-2015 will be conducted on Thursday the 14th May 2015. The subject-wise timing and duration of exam are as follows:
Biology - 09.00 am to 10.00 am (Duration: 1 hr)
Physics & Chemistry - 10.15 am to 12.15 am (Duration: 2 hr)
Mathematics - 12.30 pm to 01.00 pm (Duration: 1 hr)
The Group-wise timing is as follows:
PCM Group - 10.15 am to 01.30 pm
PCB Group - 09.00 am to 12.15 pm
PCMB Group - 09.00 am to 01.30 pm
How to Apply for JCECE 2015 ?
A candidate can apply for the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2015 only Online by logging on to www.jceceboard.org
Before submission of Application Form, make the following preparations:
i. Candidate should have scanned
images of his photograph signature and Left Hand's Thumb Impression in
JPG format only, for uploading as part of submission of online
application
ii. Decide the mode of payment of fee
iii. Through Debit /Credit Card using onlne gateway payment facility, or
iv. Depositing in JCECEB's Bank Account with Bank of
India directly by downloading the Challan Form generated n the process
of filling the Application Form
a) If decided to pay fee through Debit/Credit Card,
check the validity of the Card and keep it ready with you while logging
on to website for submitting Application Form
b) If decided to pay fee off-line mode, download the
E-Challan from website http://ceceb.jharkhand.gov.in after completing
Part-I i.e. Candidate Registration Information
c) After Depositing Fee in the Bank, wait for
another 2 hour for reconcile of fee. After 2 hr logged to website for
completing all the steps of the Application form
Fee Details and last date for submission of Application form are as follows:
SC/ST: PCM - Rs.275/-; PCB - Rs.275/-; PCMB - Rs.325/-
Gen/BC-I/BC-II: PCM - Rs.550/-; PCB - Rs.550/-; PCMB - Rs.600/-
Admit Card:
The JCECEB will provided the
facility of downloading Admit Cards of JCECE 2015 on the Board's
website; candidates are required to download the admit cards from the
website and follow the instructions given therein
Candidate may please not that admit cards will not
be sent by the post; the online Admit Card can be downloaded from
Board's website i.e. www.jeceboard.org from 11th May 2015 onwards
