MR Medical College or Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College (also known as MRMC) was created in the year 1963, has been among the prominent institutions offering education in the country. Karnataka state has been the beneficiary by the armed forces of this institution from the last 30 years. The college was founded by the Hyderabad Karnataka Education (HKE) Society with an idea to boost the educationally diffident region of Karnataka State.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should have passed 12th standard and should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (taken together) and should have passed English as one of the subjects.
• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission.
• Selection is through COMED-K and CET

Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College Fee Structure and admission Procedure:

Students who have completed 10+2 with good marks in academics. CET or COMED-K Exams to be compulsory taken.

Post Graduate:

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s/MBBS Degree from a recognized university.

Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in Gulbarga was established in the year 1963. It is controlled and managed by a trust and is currently celebrating its Golden Jubilee. MRMC Gulbarga is the second private college in India to be recognised by the MCI. MRMC Medical College, Gulbarga is also famously recognised by the British Medical Council. The teaching hospital here is a super specialty one and was inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi when was the Prime Minister of India.

Sri S. Nijalingappa, the then Chief Minister, Govt. of Karnataka, Sri. Veerendra Patil and Dr. D. C. Pavate helped in establishing the Medical faculty. Medical faculty was started in 1963 with mission to bring out quality doctors by conveyance quality education to fulfill this and dynamical expectation of the folks and up the health standing of the folks of this region by providing health care and providing optimum coaching facilities for Medical students.

Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College Gulbarga has more than 250 well trained and eminent members in its faculty. The sports department is fully functional and the students experience a holistic training here. Mahadevappa Rampure (MR) Medical College, Gulbarga was set up in the year 1963 under the leadership of Sri Mahadevappa Rampure started a Medical college in private sector with mission to bring out quality doctors by imparting quality education to meet the present and changing expectation of the people and improving the health status of the people of this region by offering health care and providing optimum training facilities for Medical students.

The preclinical section began in 1964 and the clinical section in 1966. The State Government built a 700 - bed hospital to offer clinical facilities to the students. The College was recognized by the Medical Counicl of India (MCI) in 1972 and was the second Private Medical College in the Country next to Manipal to get recognition. The graduates of the College are serving in different parts of the country and abroad. The Post-graduate courses began in 1979 and now the College is offering Post-graduate training in 18 different subjects.
