Rajasthan Dental College & Hospital, Jaipur has committed itself to become a center for excellence in Dental Education and a world leader in the field of Dental Sciences including hospital practice with the objective of strengthening the health care of the country. The College offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course, that is of 5 years duration, including one year of compulsory rotatory internship. At present the college is imparting training in BDS degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery).
COURSESBachelor's of Dental Surgery (B.D.S)
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a four year course and one year Compulsory rotatory Internship. Students will be granted BDS degree on completion of Internship. During the period of internship students will get stipend as per rules applicable at that time. Period of internship of one year is mandatory for obtaining the Degree and Registration.
Mater of Dental Surgery (M.D.S)
MDS courses have been started from academic session 2011-12. It is a full time, 3 years courses leading to Masters in Dental Surgery.
MDS courses have been started in following five specialties from the session 2011-12:
Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics
Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridge
Oral Medicine & Radiology
Periodontology
Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics
