 A.M.E's Dental College and Hospital was established in 1991. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with a view to meet the requirements of dental health care to the state of Karnataka and neighbouring states.

The Dental Council of India has recognized the institute in May – 1996

A.M.E's Dental College and Hospital is located on Raichur Bijanagere road besides Govt. Polytechnic , 5Kms from Railway Station.

B.D.S COURSE

 Eligibility for Admission for BDS Course

No candidate will be admitted unless he/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete 17 years of age on 31st December of the year of his/her admission to first B.D.S ,Candidates who have passed the two years Pre - University Examination of Pre - University Board of Karnataka with English and Physics Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to the fist year and The candidate shall have obtained 50% marks in English & 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry , and Biology

M.D.S COURSE

institute started PG Course in Dentistry ( M.D.S from 2003 – 04 with Two Specialties namely Orthodontics & Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics

In the Year 2004 – 05 DCI granted permission to add two more specialties in out PG Centre Namely Prosthodontics & Periodontics 

Eligibility for Admission for MDS Cource

A candidate for admission to the MDS course ( Master of Dental Surgery ) must have a degree of BDS     ( Bachelor of Dental Surgery ) from a college and University recognized by Dental Council of India or an qualification recognized by Rajiv Gandhi  University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, ( RGUHS ) and the Dental Council of India. Candidates not possessing a recognized Dental qualification for the above purpose should secure the prior approval  of his/ her qualifications by the Dental Council of India before admission to the MDS Course.

HOSTEL:

HOSTEL Facilities are available for boys and girls separately Girls Hostel  is located walkabel distance from the institute. Each student is provided with a cot , table, chair and cupboard, Hostel rooms are provided with light, fixtures, ceiling fans etc.,  the management reserves the right to change hostel fee and provisions given  in the prospectus. Mess facilities are available in the hostels .
