Applications are invited for admission into the Post Graduate Degree courses for year of 2015.

Courses offered:

MDS in Prosthodontics and crown & bridge, Periodontology, oral and maxillofacial Orthopaedics, oral pathology & microbiology, conservative dentistry and Endodonitcs, oral medicine & radiology, Paedodontics and preventive dentistry

Dental College & Hospital Navi Mumbai:

MDS in Prosthodontics and crown & bridge, Periodontology, orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Paedodontics and preventive dentistry, conservative dentistry and endodontics

Dental College & Hospital, Sangli:

MDS in Prosthodontics and crown & bridge, oral and maxillofacial surgery, conservative dentistry & Endodontics, orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Paedodontics & preventive dentistry

Eligibility:

The candidate must be an Indian national

Foreign/NRI/OCI/PIO candidates seeking admission to the PG programmes will have to obtain registration from the Dental Council of India. Any candidate who has obtained BDS degree from any recognized dental college in India under foreign/NRI/OCI/PIO category will not be considered under regular category for Post Graduate Course even if he Possess recognized BDS degree from an Indian University.

The candidate must have passed BDS examination from a dental college recognized by Dental Council of India.

The candidate must have completed one year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March, 2015. He/she will have to produce a certificate of completion of internship before joining the course.

The candidate should posses a permanent registration with any state dental council or dental council of India. If the registration certificate is not submitted within one month after admission to the postgraduate course, admission to course will be cancelled.

If a candidate does not fulfill any or all the above requirement or fails to pay the fees at time of counseling, he/she will not be considered eligible for admission irrespective of his appearing for DENPET-2015 examination and securing a rank in the merit list.

Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates seeking admission for the post graduate programme in the institution must procure temporary registration by Dental Council of India for the duration of the Post graduate training to the dental college which he/she is admitted.

Candidates who have passed post graduate diploma course recognized by the DCI, of the duration of 2 years in particular specialty will be eligible for admission MDS in the same specialty and the duration of his/her MD courses will be 2 years.

Admission Procedure:

The admission to MDA course to the Bharti Vidyapeeth University Dental College will be made on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in dental post graduate entrance test i.e DENPET-2015.

How to Apply:

A candidate desirous of applying for DENPET 2015 is required to complete the prescribed appended at the end of this Brochure. The same must registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Bhavan, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Pune 411030 on or before the date for submission mentioned in the calendar of events.

All candidates are required to endorse attested photocopies of the following documents duly attested by Principal/Gazetted officer along with the form.

Statement of marks of I. II, III and final BDS examinations, Certificate of completion of internship, Certificate indicating the number of attempts at final BDS examination from the Head of the Institution, If the candidate is employed, he should submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer, declaration of stating that he is not undergoing any postgraduate course at other institution, Medical fitness certificate, statement of marks of 10+2 or equivalent examination, certificate of registration with state dental council/dental council of India, Nationality certificate, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, Certificate from the Dean/Principal of the dental college of the candidate stating, that college is recognized by the Dental Council of India, caste certificate, caste validity certificated from appropriate authority, Photo Identity Card issued by any Govt. Agency.

Last date for submitting the completed application form to Bharathi Vidyapeeth University: 10th January, 2015

Issue of duplicate admission card to those students, who have not received same till 16th January, 2015: 17th January, 2015

Date and Time of Common Entrance Test: 18th January, 2015

Places where the Test will be held: Pune, Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad & Vadodra
