About Us :

SHKM Government Medical College is Affiliated to  Pt. B.D. Sharma University Of Health Science. Infrastructure : Pre and Paraclinical Departments : Located in the Main College building. All the labs and demonstration rooms are centrally air-conditioned and equipped with modern audiovisual aids. There are roomy demonstration hall fitted with state of the art audio and visual aids Lecture Theaters : Three centrally airconditioned lecture theaters with a seating capacity of 150 students in each. LTs are fitted with multimedia projectors, wireless state of the art audio system and interactive multimedia screens.Common room adjacent to LT 1 is airconditioned and has recretional facilities as well. Central Library : Central library has more than 1500 books on various specialities along with indexed national and international journals. It also has computer stations connected to the internet with access to online article search and download facilities avalilable free of cost. There is an external reading room with a seating capacity of over 100.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES MBBS BDS Recretional facilities : are available in the Undergraduate hostels. Common rooms having television and indoor games. Sepearate two storied gymnasium is located in the campus having seperate mens and womens sections. site for football ground, volleyball,basket ball and badminton courts has been marked and the courts will be ready soon. Residential Facilities : Seperate hostels for Girls and Boys are ready to move in both the hostels have mess areas, common rooms and indoor game areas.
